A Pitweigh Inground Weighbridge, also known as a pit type weighbridge or pit scale, is a type of weighing system used to accurately measure the weight of vehicles. It is designed to be installed at ground level, with the weighing platform positioned within a pit or recessed area. This configuration allows vehicles to easily drive onto and off the weighing platform without encountering any significant inclines or ramps.

No Ramps Needed, Less Space Required.

Key Features:

  • Strong design – 530 mm to 600 mm steel universal beam structure, cross-braced every 5 meters to prevent twisting, and strong 8 mm welds
  • Galvanized steel frames and components to prevent corrosion
  • Weatherproof hermetically sealed load cells made of 17-4PH stainless steel
  • NMI Trade Approved
  • Steel or concrete deck options
  • Can have split decks for axle weighing on 4.5t p/axles trucks
  • Weighbridges can be customised to your business needs with an availability of several add-on accessories
