Viking Hot Air SealerDescription:
Viking Hot Air Sealers use the principle of heat transfer by convection. It uses ambient air which is transmitted to heating capsules where it is then passed over a heating cartridge which heats the air to the required temperature and only in the desired area on the mouth of the bag, where the required sealing is to take place.A Set of crimpers apply pressure while the bag is at this temperature and cool the plastic , leaving the bag in a sealed state after cooling occurs.
This machine features the latest in PID temperature-Control, innovative direct drive, enhanced airflow design guaranteeing a high efficiency heat transfer system that seals thicker bags of polyethylene, coated, laminated or even complex bags with a polyethylene inner liner. This machine adops an electronic constant temperature control system and Variable speed drive allowing sealer to speed up or down.The electrical circuit is hardwired and uses relay logic for simplicity and reliability. How it Works:
- Using the temperature controller, the correct temperature is set to suit the thickness of bags being sealed.
- The open mouth of the filled plastic bag is guided into the in-feed section where it is gripped and supported by continuously moving rubber belts.
- The bag then travels through four streams of “hot air” creating a molten band of plastic which immediately passes between pressure rollers to complete the weld, before leaving the machine.
